Ferrule – Copper

Copper ferrules are ideal for use in marine environments. Aluminium can react badly when combined with steel in marine conditions; copper should be used instead of aluminium is this situation.

Copper Ferrule. These ferrules are designed to be applied to stainless steel wire rope with hand swaging pliers. Hydraulic swaging using dies that have a cavity matching that of the correct plier can also be used for their application where preferred. Our copper ferrules are available in bright finished copper, and copper nickel plated (to give a bright stainless steel matching appearance).
